Automatically detect intruders in security perimeters,
valuable goods removal, vehicles stopping in a place longer
than a certain time or doing forbidden turns, suspicious
bags left behind… Now the control over facilities
and assets can be increased while improving the performance
of the security and surveillance systems.
Video analytic devices from Lanaccess,
currently in use to protect sea ports, prison institutions,
nuclear plants, … implement in hardware ObjectVideo’s
video content analysis algorithms to provide the most reliable,
stable, robust and easy to use solution, available in a
range of products for today’s requirements.

Most hardware based video analytics products
in the marked today use a single chip (Digital Signal Processor)
for both video encoding and video content analysis resulting
on processing power capabilities that severely compromises
their ultimate goal. Some manufacturers advice users on
the data sheets that in certain video scenes no power will
be left for video analytics. Others won’t. This is
not the case in Lanaccess implementation. In some models
the DSPs are exclusively devoted to video analysis while
in the others there are separate processors for each function.
Other video analytics products in the market are PC based.
The limitations in these products come from the PC itself.
PC’s can hardly operate in unattended or harsh environments:
electric power loss/restarts frequently damage the PC operating
system, usual failures to reboot, exposition to system hungs
that plague PC’s, etc. Neither is the case, again,
in Lanaccess implementation. Lanaccess devices benefits
from years of experience and thousands of units working
remotely, safely and reliably

Tracker
Box. Easy, universal and affordable video analytics.
Adding the world’s leading video analytics
technology to conventional CCTV solutions with Lanaccess “Tracker
Box” is easy, fully compatible and affordable. A TB
analyzes four cameras at the same time, signaling the alerts
by switching contacts or issuing alarm messages over an IP
network to external applications. In the output video connectors,
suspicious objects breaching security rules are highlighted
to help operators to identify them in real time or later in
the recorded video.
TrackerBox/XM. Video transmission,
recording and analytics in a single unit.
An all in one solution, combines video recording and transmission
with video analytics in a powerful system with 8 video inputs
and 200 fps.
Tracker Box/MPEGx. High performance
video analytics
Stand alone codec with analog or digital video analytics
capabilities. In the analog version, four analog video sources
are simultaneously coded into high quality IP video while
the video content is analyzed. The model for IP video analysis
can analyze 4 4CIF MPEG2 or MPEG4 IP video streams from external
sources such as codecs or IP cameras.
MPEG-IVP. To add vide? ††† o
analytics to the Lanaccess’s onSafe MPEG codecs
MPEG-IVP is a video analytics power horse plug-in card for
stand alone or blade codecs. It is available in two models
to analyze two or four cameras. To match different analysis
requirements there is available a choice of video analytics
camera licenses.

OV-Ready® is a well defined public protocol specified
by ObjectVideo defining the specifications about how video
analysis rules are configured and how alerts, alert images
and alert metadata are structured and transmitted, for both
video analytics sensors and video applications using them.
Devices and applications can comply either to rule specification
and or alert transmission or both. Those supporting both are
identified as OVPremier.
Lanaccess video analytics products are all OV Premier and
ObjectVideo certified, thus seamless and completely integrated
with OVReady applications

Depending on the requirements and on the components selected
to build a solution, installers and system integrators may
select the appropriate Lanaccess video analytics devices.
It will likely be one of the following sceneries:
- Anytime ObjectVideo Video analytics features are considered.
The Onboard implementation of Lanaccess provides a cost
effective and significantly more scalable, reliable and
robust alternative to PC based sensors.
- When using an OVReady security or video management third
party application. For instance, Genetec’s Omnicast.
- In any security system that includes any CCTV equipment
(Digital Video Recorders, Video Switches, Multiplexers,
etc) the TrackerBox adds video analytics without imposing
any restriction or limitation to the models and brands of
the CCTV systems it has to operate with.
- In surveillance and security solutions employing integration
applications supporting Lanaccess products, as, for instance,
PACOM, Vigiplus from Desico, Dorlet, Indra, Etra, Emte,
ACISA, etc.
- Anytime as part of Lanaccess’s IP video solutions.
