The onSafe MPEGx-404 is a multichannel
codec with 4 analog BNC connectors used as analog video
inputs or outputs. Encodes four analog video inputs to MJPEG,
MPEG2 or MPEG4 formats, configuration selectable. It transmits
four streams with 4CIF resolution, at up to 25 fps with
DVD quality (up to 8 Mbps per stream) and decodes four 4CIF
IP Streams @25 fps.
Other standard features include texts
and logo insertion (OSD), motion detection, camera tampering
or loss of signal. It has an RS232 port and an RS485/RS422
serial ports that can be used for dome telemetry and serial
to IP PAD or transparent port. 4 contacts inputs and 2 contact
outputs are available fro for events signaling.
It can optionally include support for
the Video Analytics plug-in module (onSafe IVP) for automatic
system response based on video content analysis alerts.
It is available in two formats:

In a 1,5U stand alone cabinet for table top or 19” rack mounting.
