The onSafe MPEGx-400 is a multichannel
codec with 4 analog video inputs and two analog video
outputs. Encodes four analog video signals to MJPEG, MPEG2
or MPEG4 formats, configuration selectable. It transmits
two streams with 4CIF resolution, at up to 25 fps with
DVD quality (up to 8 Mbps per stream) or four streams
with DCIF resolution at up to 25 ips with DVD-like quality
( up to 4 Mbps per stream)
Decodes two 4CIF IP Streams @25 fps
or four streams with DCIF resolution at up to 25 fps.
Includes internal multiplexers in order to display in
the two analog outputs any multiplexed combination of
analog or IP video inputs.
Other standard features include texts
and logo insertion (OSD), motion detection, camera tampering
or loss of signal. It has an RS232 port and an RS485/RS422
serial ports that can be used for dome telemetry and serial
to IP PAD or transparent port. 4 contacts inputs and 2
contact outputs are available for events signaling.
It can optionally include support for
the Video Analytics plug-in module (onSafe IVP) for automatic
system response based on video content analysis alerts.
