The onSafe MPEG2 is a multichannel encoder
with four analog BNC video connectors. It is a device optimized
to protect perimeters and infrastructures thanks to three
specific features:
- It can hold the Video Analytics plug-in module (onSafe
IVP) for automatic system response based on video content
analysis alerts
- It has two optical fiber ports making possible to interconnect
the codecs all over a fiber optical ring. The switch implements
spanning three so communications are maintained in case
of breach of the ring.
- It is designed operate in harsh environments as those
found over railways, highways or perimeters.
Encodes four analog video inputs to
MPEG2 format. It transmits a single mpeg2 stream of
selectable cameras or a multiplexed signal of four cameras
with 4CIF resolution, at 25 fps at minimum 2 Mbps.
If the quad is transmitted, video
cropping features of the Lanaccess software allows the
selection and display of a single camera.
Other standard features include texts
and logo insertion (OSD), motion detection, camera tampering
or loss of signal.
It has an RS232 port and an RS485/RS422
serial ports that can be used for dome telemetry and
serial to IP PAD or transparent port.
4 contacts inputs and 2 contact outputs
are available for events signaling. It is available
in two formats:
-
In a 1,5U stand alone cabinet for table top or 19” rack mounting. It is available with two
100FX optical fiber ports (onSafeMPEG2 Dual MAN) and with two Gigabit optical fiber ports and two
100bT ports. The later used to transport Ethernet traffic from other devices
over the ring. (onSafeMPEG2 Dual MAN GIGA)
-
Blade board to be inserted in the onSafe/RACK video concentrator.
